INGREDIENTS
Chicken 1 kg (cut into 12 pieces)
Tomato 1 (sliced in 8 pieces)
Onion ground 1
Green chilies whole 2
Cloves 4
Green cardamom 4
Green chilies ground 6
Cinnamon 1 stick
Yogurt 1 cup
Oil ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped
Saffron ¼ tsp
All spice ½ tsp
Coriander leaves ground 2 tbsp
Almonds blanched and ground 2 tbsp heaped
Salt to taste
Instructions
Marinate chicken in green chillies paste, coriander paste and salt for 15 minutes.
Then add in beaten yogurt, almond paste and mix well.
Heat oil and fry onion paste in it.
Then add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes.
Add whole spices with marinated chicken, fry well.
Pour in 1/2 cup water and cook on low flame for 20 minutes till chicken cooks through and gravy thickens.
Now add all spices, whole green chilies, tomatoes and saffron, stir and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve hot with boiled sliced eggs.
